In the eighth edition of the Rocktravelco Wackentour and with the satisfaction of our past clients for the tour through the Mecca of Metal, it offers you once again the Wackentour 2024. Visit Germany with the first official Wacken travel partner in Colombia since 2014!! Like every Metalhead tasting the best beers and food for 9 magnificent days. From July 28th to August 5th, 2024 travel through this incredible country. Incredible german landscapes, architecture, food, drinks and typical culture of the cities to visit, Dresden (FOR THE FIRST TIME IN OUR WACKENTOUR!!!), Hamburg and as if that were not enough, celebrate in the Mecca and dream of any Metalhead, at the WACKEN OPEN AIR! On its 33rd anniversary it will present more than 150 concerts in 9 different stages (Power-, Black-, Death-, Viking-, Progressive Metal, among others), transport yourself to the city you always dreamed of. Like every year you will find people from all over the world and of all ages. The bands so far confirmed for this XXXIII edition are: SCORPIONS, AMON AMARTH, Blind Guardian, In Extremo, Beast in Black, Ankor, Xandria, Sonata Artica, among others.
Itinerary
Dresden
Accommodation in a shared room at the hostel around 2:00 p.m. In the afternoon, city tour, visiting tourist attractions of the city such as the historic center. The type of this tour will be confirmed in the first months of 2024.
Dresden-Wacken
Departure to Wacken Open Air. Camping at WORLD METAL CAMP. Exclusive camp for the Official Travel Partners of Wacken worldwide, with a party tent, refrigerator, power outlets, bathrooms and lockers nearby. Later we can go to the town to buy food and drinks at more affordable prices for the coming days.

Around noon we will go to the Wacken pool to share with other Metalheads, depending on the weather. The cost of transportation and the pool are not included. In the afternoon we can go to the Official W:O:A Merchandising in the town and free night for more integration either in the camp or in the town of Wacken.

This is the right day to start! The first performances by medieval music bands, rock, among others, begin around 11am. Visit the Wackinger Village where you'll find some contests, special presentations and tasty dishes, and visit the Wasteland on the way.

The last day will surely be the most hectic, one band after another, what you will lack is energy.
Wacken-Hamburgo
The last bands that started on the night of August 3rd will end between 2am and 3am. The Wacken 33rd edition is concluded with the Outro on August 4th. You will have time to rest after the last concert and before noon we will be leaving for Hamburg. Accommodation in shared room. City tour through tourist attractions and the famous red light district “Reeperbahn”, to conclude our Wackentour with a great evening.

Our Wackentour 2024 ends and each one will continue with their journey. Check out of the Hostel maximum until 10am.
